Divine Swirl Bakery — Our Policies

Booking, Cancellation & No-Show Policies:

All orders placed directly with Divine Swirl Bakery staff or via our secure website are subject to our Booking, Cancellation, and No-Show Policies below. By placing an order or securing a date, you agree to these terms:


Standard Orders — (Individuals/Families, Non-Event/Non-Catering)

  

At Divine Swirl Bakery, we pour meticulous care into every small-batch creation. Because your treats are baked-to-order using premium, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, we reserve a specific block of time in our kitchen just for you. The following policies help enable us to maintain our commitment to the exceptional quality, flavor, and texture that define every bite—whether you’re hosting a celebration or simply treating yourself to a moment of gourmet indulgence.


Order Logistics:


  • Payment:  To secure your baking slot and allow us to source premium ingredients, all orders are prepaid via our secure website. We are unable to accept cash on delivery or "pay at pickup."
  • Scheduling: After your order is placed, look for a follow-up message from us to coordinate a convenient time and day for your delivery or pickup.
  • The 15-Minute Grace Period: Because we bake fresh to your specific time slot, we allow a 15-minute grace period past your scheduled time for both pickups and deliveries.
  • No-Show & Access Policy: Due to food safety and the perishable nature of our ingredients, items cannot be left unattended. If you are unable to arrive for pickup or if we cannot access the property for delivery (locked gates/entry codes, etc.) within the 15-minute grace period, your order will be donated to our local First Responders.
  • Finality of Service: Please note that we cannot coordinate same-day delivery return trips or late pickup windows; therefore, no refunds or redeliveries are available for missed slots.


Cancellation & Refund Eligibility:


  • 7+ Days Notice: Full refund or 100% "Sweet Credit" toward a future order.
  • 3 to 6 Days Notice: 50% refund or 75% "Sweet Credit" toward a future order.
  • Less than 72 Hours Notice: No refund or credit. At this stage, ingredients have been committed and the baking schedule is locked. 


Events & Catering Orders — (Weddings & Corporate)

To ensure your celebration or corporate event gets the dedicated focus it deserves, we require a 50% nonrefundable deposit for all event bookings. This secures your date on our calendar and allows us to begin sourcing the thoughtfully selected, premium ingredients for your specific menu. We look forward to being a part of your special day or milestone event!


Order Logistics:


  • Payment: The initial deposit and all subsequent payments toward your balance are made via secure digital invoice.
  • Final Balance: Due 14 days prior to the event date.
  • Guest Count Changes: Counts are finalized when your final payment is made 14 days prior to the event. After this time, we will do our best to accommodate increases (subject to availability), which will be confirmed once an additional digital invoice is paid. Decreases made after the 14-day deadline are not eligible for a refund; however, we will fulfill the full original quantity so that you and your attending guests can enjoy the remaining treats as extra indulgences or parting gifts.
  • Delivery & Setup: Delivery and setup fees for events are custom-quoted based on the venue location and the complexity of the setup. These will be clearly outlined in your personalized quote.


Cancellation & Refund Eligibility:


  • 14+ Days Notice: The 50% deposit remains non-refundable; however, any additional balance paid will be fully refunded to your original payment method.
  • 7 to 13 Days Notice: Beyond the non-refundable deposit, 50% of your remaining balance paid will be issued as a "Sweet Credit" toward a future event.
  • Less than 7 Days Notice: No refunds or credits are available, as specialty ingredients have been sourced and preparation is underway.



Product Returns & Exchanges

To maintain the highest standards of food safety and to comply with applicable laws, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any food products once they have been delivered or picked up (by a customer, a customer’s representative, or a third-party delivery service). We appreciate your understanding in helping us keep our small-batch kitchen safe and sweet!

Divine Swirl Bakery is a licensed home kitchen providing moments of sheer indulgence to clients across Vail, Rita Ranch, Tucson, Sahuarita, and Green Valley. While we bake with only 100% gluten-free ingredients, please note that our products are produced in a home kitchen that may come in contact with common food allergens and is not subject to public health inspection. Although we follow strict cross-contamination protocols, our facility is not certified gluten-free as prepackaged gluten products are present in the household.
